What’s the difference between psychotherapy and counselling?

Counselling can offer a variety of support from someone in crisis, and/or someone wishing to address a specific behaviours. Relational Psychotherapy, working longer term can also help with these issues, but typically it addresses and explores unconscious patters of relating. Psychotherapy and psychotherapeutic counselling are talking therapies. Our members provide safe, expert talking therapy which helps people with emotional, social or mental health problems.
